House In Orino

The project is about a ground floor small house inside the village of Orino at the municipality of Ierapetra, Crete. Simple lines and geometry defined the design process.

The ground floor volume includes all spaces living room a wc and the kitchen, and bedroom. The living areas of the house have access to a green exterior space barbeque and an outdoor sitting area. The house is on the edge of a cliff with a spectacular view to the mountains and the sea at South. Also an outdoor stair connect the ground floor with the roof that has an outdoor living room.

The outdoor space is carefully arranged with plantings and paths in different levels while in addition to the barbecue provides a full range of amenities and options. All the exterior and interior spaces are made with a special style of exposed concrete technique in soft tones combined with the dominant off white paint of the house the stone and the light wooden tone of the shaders.
