House Renovation In Ierapetra

This project was a challenge from the start. An old 1957 house inside the city centre of Ierapetra separated into two different houses and a big abandoned garden

We have to add spaces into the existing contour in order to reach the standards of spaces and use the clients needed and also change all the inside spaces. After taking consideration of exist house strength, the way the new spaces can be connected without causing any problem we proceed to the plans for license and for construction. The two different houses remains having a big family house at the road level and a smaller house at the garden level.

At the garden space we add a storage space and a gym. A necessary piece was a bbq area under a pergola, protected from wind and sun into an environment that protect the privacy of the owners and guests. Also the reconstruction of the abandoned garden was something on our first priorities for the use of the house by creating paths, spaces of relax and a nice green area at all in order to give the sense of the   country inside the city.
